I am determined to finish "The Tainted Cup" and fight the urge to start another re-read with "The Count of Monte Christo". In May I also hope to finish some of the long staying guest on my currently reading list to be able to start June with some bright and shiny and new books. I'm also so excited for the new book club thing, it's such a marvelous idea. Happy reading, Lianne and lots of love to you and Harry and all the babes.

my brain only binges all 19 books or stops after 1 or 2. I love doing the whole series at once.

Its so funny that you are reading the count lol literally just started a book club to get through the intimidating classics, called Tomes before Tombs.

👣 I plan to go slow this month. It helps so much to just let go of those MUST MUST MUST expectations. I will read what I will read.

🦶🦶🦶🦶 Thanks for the great video! My 1st read for May has already begun: it's the 2nd book in the Evenfall Witches B&B Series by Auralee Wallace, When the Crow's Away. And the 2nd read for May will be... The Wee Free Men!!! I love Terry Pratchett and haven't read the Tiffany Aching books yet, so I'm excited to begin. :)

My first books were the next instalments in the Falco series, which brings me up to about halfway through that series

I have so many things I need to finish and have fallen behind on that May is going to be a "catch up and get back on track" month - mostly not reading related. And then you mentioned the Discworld which reminded me that I haven't done my Discworld reread this year at all.
Ah well. First I need to finish the Book of Form and Emptiness by Ruth Ozeki. This chunker is really slowing me down, or it's life being in the way of reading. Who knows ;)
Good luck with your reading plans!

Hello Hello! I started reading "Highfire" by Eoin Colfer in April but didn't get far because I was working a lot of OT and simply couldn't summon the energy to read anything on my physical TBR, but I did read a few audiobooks which I am pleased about. So finishing that book is a priority. I am also listening to "On Writing" by Stephen King. I am trying to come up with a way to focus on my book cart and whittle down my physical TBR this summer. Love your bookclub idea!

First book in May is THE SCOURGE BETWEEN STARS by Ness Brown, a Sci-Fi novella from Tor
👣 One step at a time is my speed these days, too ❤😊
