Good reaction 😃 Jade and all the girls auditioned for the x factor in the UK not American idol, they were then put together as a group. Jade has said this song and video is about her love/hate relationship with the music industry, there is also a behind the scenes video jade released to show what the music video is about. Jade has also released another version of this song on stage which is called S.A.D (slow, angelic, dramatic live version) and it is beautiful.

This song and video is representing how disposable people are in the music industry. Jade has said that the big man ‘M’ represents the music industry as a whole, though we all know that is a reference to Simon Cowell who mistreated Little Mix and other artists when they were signed to his label Syco - also referenced in the song with the line “selling my soul to a psycho”. It’s true that each ‘Jade’ in the video is being replaced by the next ‘big thing’. If you listen to her S.A.D version of the song (Slow, Angelic, Dramatic) the lyrics become much more clear.

Yh all the girls auditioned solo and didn’t get through boot camp but was put in different groups at first they didn’t get through and then were put together, but jade actually auditioned at 2 or 3 times in previous years to the year that little mix won

If you haven't already, you should totally check out Jade's "Angel Of My Dreams S.A.D., Live Version". Personally, it's my favorite rendition of the song. She's AMAZING in it and she does an amazing job with the video. 10 out of 10!!!

So the song & vid are about her love/hate relationship with the music industry. So like she sings "selling my soul to a psycho" - syco (simon cowell's label) was the label little mix were with until 2018 before moving to rca. The giant man in the video is a representation of the music industry/the men that are at the top of the industry. The blue coat look is 'superstar Jade' and then she is replaced by 'normal' Jade busking in the street. Its showing how singers in the industry are in-disposable and once someone new comes along, the previous superstars are out of favour and its showing that cycle. The Jade in the limo with the wedding veil is to show her marrying the industry. Red hair Jade is the next star after the busking Jade. Superstar Jade is the one in the red outfit who hits her with the chair. I hope this helps a little!

When it comes to Little Mix - Jade auditioned in 2008 (the first clip in this video from x factor), 2010, 2011 (2nd clip in vid from x factor). In 2011, they all auditioned as soloist on X Factor UK and then got no's at bootcamp. Kelly Rowland them together in a group.
