Picked my Galaxy Fold up from AT&T on September 27th on day one! No issues since I've got it and I love it so far!

Suffice to say, I think the Samsung Galaxy Fold is _fixed_ .

It's nice that they fixed the protective layer by extending it all the way and then tucked it under the body of the phone's bezel.

The addition of hinge caps is a smart decision. I was surprised they didn't include it from the get go.
It's good they tightened the hinge as well.

A metal layer under the display is definitely a great decision.

I think these updates are great. But since it's version 1.0 of a new form factor, it's best to wait til the next year model.

Picked mine up from at&t store. No white glove service, guy just handed it to me and was like it looks like you know what you're doing. Enjoy. That was it!

The way they fixed these issues for the most part though seem like a bandage for the problems rather than a true fix. I feel like there's going to be hundreds of people with broken devices again within the next few months saying how the same things have happened.

This end caps are still useless.
Jerry Rig stuck some dirt on the screen. Not even near the end closed it and opened it & it got in the gears etc.
It sounded terrible, this crunchy sound where the gears where grinding the dirt.
So if you get this phone you can never ever have a single piece of debris or dirt in your pocket or never get dirt near it ever, never ever. That's a tough ask. I mean it takes 1 second out of years of use for it to go wrong.

Sad about the price, I understand why it's so high, but I would love to get one, I think I need to _"donate"_ some internal organs hahaha

The period who removed the layer are kind of idiots and try to blame Samsung but it's there own fault for thinking they never have to read instructions.
People can say oh well you shouldn't have to buy perfect example of why you should always read instructions.
I mean if I paid thousands of dollars for something I can tell you I would without a doubt spend 5 minutes reading instructions.
It's because youtubers get stuff for free so they don't care, that's what happens when you get spoilt for Tech and think you know everything.

The smart people will buy other generations. Never be a Guinea pig beta testa for Tech like this at this price.
I will most likely buy the 3rd or 4th generation when they have the kinks & software sorted.
Even then I will be seeing how it is from many trusted reviewers & watching durability tests.
