they normally only attack people if they feel threatened or are protecting something.
but there are people who will train their dogs to attack and don't blame attacks on pitbulls, Rottweilers and German shepherds because they can be extremely kind!

I was walking my Siberian Husky around the block, something I have done daily for 10 years when a Pit escaped it's owner and charged. My Husky had it on it's back and by the throat in about a second. The pit became submissive and I had to keep telling my husky Easy girl Easy! The owner ran over and picked up his dog, and my husky hadn't left a scratch. Pits might be tough but Huskies are smart and this Pit knew his ass was toast if he fought! From what I read I'm her property and she will defend to the death.
The worst threat she ever showed people is her belly to be rubbed and kisses, She will kiss you in the mouth if you let her!

dogs are only deadly when they feel threatened or if you raise them poorly. I have a pitbull and we got him when he was a puppy and we trained him and he turned out to be a very sweet funny and cuddley dog
