As his wife and creative partner, my passion is to expand awareness of Rodney's unique combination of surrealism, style and wit. Your video is perfect. Although Rodney shot fashion and editorial, he was always making pictures for himself, showing us the way he wanted the world to look. The J. Paul Getty Museum is adding 10 of Rodney Smith's images to their permanent collection, giving him the recognition he deserves, and allowing future generations of photo historians to be inspired by the work.
