There are three key moments where you have to look at Shin Lim's hands. At 0:59, at 2:34 and finally at 2:39.

In all three sequences, Shin makes the same gesture: he grasps the card very lightly with his thumb and forefinger, and then immediately puts it back down. With this simple gesture, he exerts an almost indiscernible pressure on the card, a kind of manipulation that is not likely to be done inadvertently - when the woman examines the deck at the beginning, for example, because she is just scrolling through them.

With this single, very discreet gesture, Shin DUPLICATES the card he has grasped with two fingers. For indeed, ALL the cards in this deck are intimately glued to a second card: they are ALL glued to a 10 of ❤️. They are double cards.

Of course, in order for this not to be noticeable, each of the two glued cards must be twice as thin as a normal card; otherwise, when handling the rigged deck, it would be noticeable. Moreover, the gluing must be very well done on each of the 52 double cards, and only a gesture similar to Shin's one allows to unglue them discreetly: by this pressure that he exerts with his thumb and another finger (index or middle finger), he slightly bends the double card, and the two parts come off.

The trick is thus based on three forced choices: Shin forces the choice of the card (which will necessarily be a 10 of ❤️) but he also forces the presence of the 10s of ❤️ on each of the two halves of the pack, at 2:34 and 2:39.

To a good observer, it will be seen that at 3:16, the woman has a bit of trouble turning over the 10 of ❤️. And for good reason: the card is twice as thin, and therefore harder to grip. Moreover, having to be covered with a kind of adhesive gum on its underside, it sticks slightly to the table. Once the card is turned over, it is noticeable that it is a little horny, because being thinner, it is more fragile.

As far as the 5 of ❤️ which turns into 10 of ❤️, it is just a tricked card too, a very ingenious mechanism, which consists of two sliding cards entangled in each other, which allows the 5 missing ❤️ to appear by sliding.

The poker flush trick is somewhat obvious, since the 10 of ❤️ is the card that will always be chosen. I for one would not have added this part of the magic trick, as it reinforces the suspicion that the choice of 10 of ❤️ is a forced choice. Incidentally, at 0:35, the man asks why these cards are there, and upon showing them, we catch a glimpse of an ace of ❤️ that will be part of the final straight flush.

It's a very nice trick, but that it requires really specific equipment and careful preparation beforehand. It is also a bit risky (two cards could come off unexpectedly during the initial examination of the deck: but however, if by misfortune two cards were to come off inadvertently, it would not present too much risk for the rest of the trick).

This trick should never be done twice to the same people, as the 10 of ❤️ would appear again. Hence the title of the video...
