Trading On The Road Q&A | Coffee With Markus Episode 56
Показать описание
We are making history today as this is the first Mobile Coffee With Markus!
Come along with us for the ride.
My kids and I are traveling to a Sailing Regatta in Ft. Worth Texas!
As we’re traveling I’m going to briefly cover what’s happening in these crazy markets!
Today the markets opened with a gap, but shortly after we had a big dip down.
What caused the massive dip?
Well, Apple announced they are temporarily closing some stores due to the virus. The affected locations are supposedly in California, Arizona and Florida.
This is the last thing traders want to hear… AAPL closed 2% lower.
Even though this is bad news, it didn’t really cause a sell off in the markets.
The markets have been trading sideways since last Thursday’s sell off. What is the reason for this? Supposedly there is a second wave of coronavirus, but it’s not yet confirmed. This can potentially have a huge impact on the economy.
Many State governors are saying the uptick in coronavirus cases is due to larger testing capacities, but this remains to be seen.
So it seems the markets are in a temporary holding pattern.
Maybe this weekend will bring some news that will push the market in one direction or another, we will see!
On another note…
One of the things I enjoy about the swing trading lifestyle is the flexibility. It allows you to watch your trades throughout the day instead of watching your trades ALL day.
Using my trading strategy and the PowerX Optimizer, all you really need is a basic data connection. You’ll be able to execute trades on your brokers platform from anywhere in the world.
That’s what I’ll be doing this afternoon. Monitoring my trades for the last 20 minutes of the session.
Time for a brief Question and Answer session!
Question: Do you have a preference in trading ITM over ATM if the numbers are relatively comparable?
Answer: I personally prefer ITM options, as they move closer to a stock, but if the numbers are close you can absolutely trade ATM options.
Question: Did anyone get filled using the PowerX Strategy Today?
Answer: I found two trades using the PowerX Strategy but I was unable to get filled in the positions.
Today’s CWM session is very short as it seems I’m having connectivity issues. I wanted to use this opportunity to spend time answering questions and connecting with viewers.
Stay tuned for Monday’s episode 57 of Coffee With Markus as we will discuss the tragedy that happened with the Robinhood Trader.
