if you want to buy a claim, then make sure firstly it has gold, which Parker did, 2nd have a income stream, while working on a new claim down to pay gravel, which he did not do and seems like Rick is doing it the right way, starting small and talks the right game with saving up to reinvest into the company, but bigger company, means bigger overhead

They are turning Tony and Parker into Todd and Fred and glorified Rick as their Golden boy Discovery needs to be ashamed of themselves My prediction for the season finale will be Parker will still be stripping ground in the same spot he started an episode two they claimed he hit gravel and Tony will be walking around clueless in Indian River and Rick will be the Golden boy with over a thousand ounces they are doing this intentionally they are putting emphasis on the wrong thing they should not be trying to glorify Rick but get him help because he still is addicted to something
