context:
The animation itself is about the Dad getting fired by his job because he's very late, yet he blamed the daughter for it because the daughter keeps asking him if they could spend time together. The Dad isn't aware that it's father's day, he read the letter that the daughter gave to him and yet sooner the Dad cried/got upset because he regrets of what he did for his daughter.

I got emotional— This hit so deep i legit started crying- if only parents realized their kids have emotions too, and care about their parents aswell, they're not your punching bags, they're your kids. Your family.

It's really cool how you are able to express emotion in such simple character designs. I haven't seen anything like this before. Kind of reminds me of old YouTube stick-figure fighting animations, except this story is a lot more narratively complex.

this honestly says alot, its both the parents and child that deserve love, some parents might have really bad problems and they don't want their child to know, glad to know that the father in the end was able to realize about his daughter's feelings

HOLY DUCK you illustrated my whole childhood in a minute with animation only. I genuinely feel some sort of shame, as an animation student, not to do this myself!
This is extremely accurate to my life as well and I feel the same way as you do. I am still living this reality, as a young adult that left home.

Fuck, , that hit home way to hard, i started crying because i may not have gone through exactly what that poor kid went through but i was emotionally neglected by my parents and my brother, , basically my whole family, they used to always fight so the internet and my mother/father's room was my escape (context: they never use their room as they almost always use the living room) my childhood was pretty much a room :( and they were surprised a few days ago when i was forced to have a talk with my mom and tell her the truth that i don't love her, i don't hate her(but i don't like her either) but i wouldn't say i love her because just as i said to her "how am I supposed to love someone who didn't love me and someone i don't even know" (I've lived with her all my life it's just, , , it never feels like i live with her :(((( ) also that she pretty much has been insulting me my whole life, although that's pretty much what she was surrounded by as a kid :( i used to be so happy as a lil kid, , , fuck i miss it :(((( this animation just, , it hits..it hits me right in the heart, all i ever wanted was for my parents to love me.
