Robert F. Kennedy Jr. apologized to his family Sunday night after a Super PAC ran a $7 million Super Bowl ad that mirrored a 1960 presidential campaign ad for his uncle, former President John F. Kennedy. However as of Monday morning, the ad still remains pinned at the top of his X page. #news #politics #rfkjr

The dude's uncle and then father were assassinated. He lived through all that grief, and grew up in that era. He has every right to call back to his family roots.

Besides his family, I don’t know anyone who thinks the ad is disrespectful in anyway, it’s his name, just because your family doesn’t like you doesn’t mean they can’t take that name or legacy from you. Them trying to take ownership of it just shows how delusional and biased they are about themselves.

I think the only people that this ad ticked off are the 5 members of his family that don’t support his candidacy.

I think the family needs to take a chill pill. He is the only one who actually represents what the real democrats stood for!

Best political ad I've seen in decades!

Why are you doing this reel? Why is there any controversy whatsoever in RFK Jr using this add? So what if a family member criticized it ? So what?

JFK and his brother were not saints that need all these protection and worship. The campaign ad was brilliantly done and a great callback

I’m voting for Kennedy, it was a great ad, no hate, no divisive rhetoric, and no slander of any other candidate. RFK 2024!

Legitimately the most genius move on RFK Jr.’s part. Got baby boomers attention with it, only presidential ad during the Super Bowl, and on top of it all history buffs like myself loved the nostalgia

I don’t get why people get offended so easily, I don’t see any disrespect more so RFK is embracing his Kennedy linage. Media always trying to cause division smh

RFK is amazing. Everything he says is real, and I challenge anyone to find anything that they don't like about him.

Only thing from the Super Bowl worth watching.

I like RFK Jr's add. What I don't like is MSNBC's complete bias.

Hopefully he wins! They always try so hard to stop a true Kennedy

You can always find a person who doesn't like something. Often a family member. I don't know of any family that all believe that same thing. If they did that might mean that a robots not humans

I liked it! It was a classic retro ad, regardless

So this is the ad that the media is melting down over…?

And the mainstream media wonders why their credibility has become a joke. Glad to see groups like MSNBC, CNN, and Fox all dying to independent journalism, substack, and podcasts.
