If you want the photshop mock ups to look wayyy better, instead of using the fill tool (Paint Bucket). Click on the layer (Ex. Upper), then click add new vector mask, then a hue and saturation layer (both buttons are right under the layers tab) . It will keep the texture of the shoe and there are plenty more options to mess with to get an exact color and tone.

Wrong. You never paint with paint bucket when you want some object to realistically look like the color you chose is the color of that object. 
Go Image-adjusments-replace color, it will be much cleaner.
Trust me, I'm a graphic designer.

Hey i recently bought angelus white paint to cover some scuffs on the white leather of my cords, but the patent leather also has a small scuff and I tried acetone but it kinda made it worse.. Would it be alright if I used the black acrylic paint to cover it up? Would it be permanent as well?

hey what app do you use to put the music in when u clean your shoes and how do u fast forward the videos and what happens when paint doesnt come off of your shoes when u used acetone and the file?

One thing I can suggest that would work better than turning down the opacity is trying different blend modes which is that little bar labeled normal next to the opacity adjustment.

there's actually a free alternative besides using photoshop. you can also use a editing software called GIMP. its free and also has the .psd file feature. so if you don't have the money for ps, just download GIMP
