Push Me Pull You/Garbage Can Game of Doom

A youth group favorite!

We have a rule that if the link breaks, the two people are out. This really intensifies the game. Our students LOVE LOVE LOVE this game

Good Idea, using at our college group tonite, hopefully it works, going to try to reverse it to make everyone touch the can and stay there- foucus on unity, or have people walk toward and one person try to stop them from touching the can, great channel, great ideas, thanks

we call it poison at the you we go to and they always seem to have fun it does get interesting when we get down to smaller group

go to lowes/home depot - get rope, PVC Cutter and a lighter. Cut out 2 feet of rope. Burn the ends. Tie a knot. Have kids hold them between each people. So like Circle tug of war with a trashcan in the middle. The ropes make it less awkward and more instense.

We do the line break rule and make them spin around the trash can. It’s easier to affect the trajectory of a circle than one standing still.

We play this at church but we call it red hot poker

We call this poison pole and play with a butcher's paper roll

We played this last Wednesday night but to avoid the trashcan, they circle would end up moving over the trash can - in other words they circle didn't stay around the trash can - kids would just lift up their arms and the entire circle would move away. Is there a rule to help with that? Or should i give better instructions?

We do it with ropes in a dirt pit with like 16 people

We did this once with a chair... it got banned bc we about killed each other once we got down to the last 3... we never figured who won. It would’ve been either me or this one other kid... the 3rd kid fell and bout made me twist my ankle therefore making the game banned -_-
