Too much, the ghosting, no id. Back to my car I go call support and return the food as it is undeliverable. I never take alcohol orders and refuse to accept order when apps conceal the alcohol on the offer. DD learned this the hard way.

Hey Joe. I that new “tip processing “ thing in NYC. But as you can imagine that means absolutely DICK here. Gives ya hope, but still only about 10 % of customers are tipping now.

What is a problem if the ordering app scans the ID and then you verify again when you deliver to make sure it matches? I think the app might be breaking laws.

Something about your terms that you agreed to is wrong. The alcohol sale is agreed before you are in the picture. The liability to conformance of laws for age requirement, the liability to conformance of laws for valid identification and the liability for conformance to extra company policy layers are pre existing to your involvement in or to your awareness of the sale agreement. I think the companies are fixing the negligence of age verification and identification allowing you to replace their burden of proof. You are getting set up for failure. I'm not a service gig worker. But in manufacturing we are told that the shipping department is the last quality control check before the customer gets the product. This is when the shipping department responds that being the last quality control check and being the only quality control check are two entirely different matters. The app is selling alcohol without age verification. Age and ID verification needs to happen at both points of the process.
