'Amazing' how Joe Biden can 'get away' with so many gaffes

It's amazing Joe Biden can get away with the amount of gaffes he makes and continue to be supported, former Republican US Senate nominee Rik Mehta says.

"The amount of support that his administration continues to give him and push him ... I would be surprised if they didn't run him again," Mr Mehta told Sky News host James Morrow.

"The truth is they don't know what to do – it is damage control central here.

"It's amazing how he can get away with such gaffes time and time again ... really makes you think what kind of strings are attached to Joe Biden."
