Rocking out the Taylor 816ce for another guided lesson. We're playing the basic chords in the key of C and following them up with a small melody based on those same notes. A great way to improve your accuracy and efficiency. There are more lessons like this on my Patreon:

Here's the guitar I'm using and an affiliate link if you're interested:

If you like what we're throwing down in this video, check out the MasterClass I made on how to solo on guitar with another musician. You won't regret it!

--------------------------
A little about me:
Sean Daniel is a man. A man of simple needs and desires. And the one desire, no, the one NEED, that stands above all is to spread the challenges, joy and intellectual stimulus of music to people of Earth and beyond.
Born on the mean streets of upper middle class suburban Chicago, Sean learned the ways of the world through the dizzying heights of success to the lonesome depths of failure and emerged with the promise of a better tomorrow reflecting in his eyes and fiery passion in his belly.
He plays and teaches guitar on his YouTube channel where he regularly releases original music and projects to the adulation of legions of fans, who often compare him to Chris Pratt and one time Ryan Reynolds. He’s currently in the market for a nice leather jacket.

We may be in the minority, but these lessons are super helpful. This one especially just to warm up and get the fingers moving.

Sean these are my favorite type of lessons keep them coming! As someone who has played for a long time but without formal teaching, I am usually in some state of plateau. These types of leasons allow me to pick up pieces of the puzzle without getting lost in jargon and learn inately almost through osmosis. Much appreciated!

I love all this. Unfortunately I had a recent ingury to my left hand, so it will be sidelined for a couple or three months. Can't wait to get back to this. Even an intermediate player gets value from reviewing simple stuff. Stay "cool" my friend. Love the sound of the axe, by the way.

I think it would nice to keep the lessons for beginners and intermediates separate. They are different levels of learning. Most beginners won’t even have the musical language experiences to be able to follow along.

LOVE THESE! Even a lowly muppet like me can do this! 😀

Is it possible to be an intermediate yet beginner? I feel that's where I am at. Edit:I just can't get it all together.

Yo I've been stuck for years playing the same crap. Trying so hard to sound different but always sounding like I'm playing the blues! I know my pentatonic scales. Major and minor. But always just sound like I'm playing up and diwn the scales with a couple bends in the normal spots. This was a great break from that. I would love to see more like this. Because I want to play my music.(lol) Meaning I want to play the sounds I want to and not play other people music. I hear alot of "learn songs and then use different stuff from different songs to make it your own" but I couldn't stand not playing what I wanted. And learning someone's else's stuff only to forget it by the next day drove me crazy! So I say keep posting stuff like this. I can this and drive into my own sounds.

SUPER valuable, and much appreciated! Thank you! The tip on speaking the names of the cords while you strum them is a really helpful tip too!🎵🎸

These are almost certainly the ones that get you the fewest views; but honestly, they're what I subscribe for.
