as the oldest sibling i never really had to do anything for my younger sisters. all i learned to do was get good grades, get good job, find rich husband. until my parents divorced....my mother went through depression and i helped her out by becoming a second mother figure for my sisters. i cooked, i cleaned, i did everything i could to help my family out. i hated my father for what he did and i never forgave him. everything is fine now. my mom married a better man and we have another sister. (to many girls i swear) and I'm still a second mother figure and my other sister is my responsible half. i don't know you probably don't care but i saw some stories in the comments and decided to share my story.

After hearing this over and over again it makes me notice how bad of a sibling I am I think I'm like the adult of the group (I'm the youngest) but I only try to keep them in line and when I can't handle things or I seem out of things to keep going for I try to stop but yell and try to get back in hand without my own emotion and not letting myself be sad I don't let myself think or cry when I do I tell myself I'm weak and useless instead of understanding we're all in a bad form and in bad place and then I can't calm down because of the emotions I feel and won't let out and for now on I'm going to try to be nicer

Became the oldest is hard and we always become the second parent, sometimes we don't have time for ourselves but we didn't regret it, seeing our siblings growing up is enough to make us happy, when ever our siblings get hurt it hurt the oldest more because they didn't get to prevent their siblings from getting hurt and they blame themselves because of it, when being the oldest we tend to be protective of our siblings, that's why we always protect our younger siblings because we care and love them more than ourselves.
