The issue you haed at 4:08 is a very good example of why you always leave a good gap behind the car in front. Tyres and Tarmarc is a good saying. You should be able (when it's a car at least) to see the tyres and the tarmac from your driving position. That can be adjusted slightly for a lorry but the point remains the same. And there was why you do that.

But if you are not trying to realistically drive then it doesn't matter.
