My Little Pony Equestria Girls : Bring It On (PMV)

This was one concept that had been percolating in my brain for quite some time, in regards to what I had seen in My Little Pony: Equestria Girls.

I sometimes like to take things that don't seem to fit, and try to find some strange, 'happy medium,' which explains this piece.

The music is actually a mash-up of the opening 'Cheerleaders' song, and the one over the end credits of "Bring It On." I didn't want to go through the whole 'who would be the new team captain' bit from the first song, and wanted to have the simplicity of the ending piece, which was 45 seconds...but mashed in with the rather energetic opening. Because after all, anyone who was in high school knows that most cheer routines need some kind of big musical explosion in order to grab the audience's attention.

This was also different from most pieces, in that I actually had so much footage to use, and the pace of the piece is more rapid-fire than I'm used to.

Keep in mind that this video was intended moreso in fun, just like the corny cheer for the film.
