There are also tripod stands that have a 'ring lock' grip system that tightens to grip the speaker once inserted. K&M 21440 for example.

@djlogancanada your right the lift stands are great but also heavy... I SUGGESTED why not in an emergency going old school before we knew better we would put the speakers on the floor or at best a couple of borrowed tables.... not perfect i know but its a case of what would make it easy i think the main issue is getting them on and off the poles so get rid of the problem and really who in the crowd will know any better?

Great Video Jason, I would suggest use of Ultimate or Frankenstands for lift of speaker once speaker is up. Both have lift assist so raising and lowering would be a sinch with one hand. Best of luck Brian

my martin audio wt2 are 25 kg each and i can lift them on to the stands just about i have the proel stands
