Nick Jennison reviews the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom Shop 1942 J45 Banner—a meticulously crafted acoustic guitar that pays homage to a legendary design. Featuring a solid spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, it delivers rich, warm tones with impressive projection. The mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard offer smooth playability, while the vintage-style "banner" headstock adds an authentic touch. Perfect for a wide range of musical styles, this acoustic combines inspiring tones, historical accuracy, and modern craftsmanship all without breaking the bank.

Great playing for my ears and ehat i want to hear on an acoustic . The recording is good but that does sound like a good j45. Not as much low end/depth as a murphy lab gibson but it sure does stand up well and maybe a easier to record and play live

For £1200 you can get a proper USA made Gibson. Not some Chinese copy
