1956 Chevrolet Belair Convertible

The second addition to “Tri-Five” Chevy’s (55’,56’,57’)

The 56’ is my personal favorite.

This example featuring the 265 Cu. In. V-8 engine with horsepower choices,
162 HP, 170 HP. 205 HP or 225 HP.

*It’s not usual to see beauties like this in original form. One of the appeals of the Tr-Five Chevy’s Is they customize so well.

The Belair was big in the production department.

1,623,376 Belair’s, all versions were made. That includes, Sedan’s, Coupe’s, Wagon’s, Nomad’s, Sedan Deliveries.

*They made 41,883, 1956 convertibles

no comparing a 55 to a 56 there's some things on the 55 I like I actually had a show car 55 and I found it when I was looking for a 56. The rear wheel wells are squared off not tear dropped The grill was toned down in 56 the 55 dash is exactly the same except forthe inserts on a 55 have bowties instead of slotted lines and it had a fuel door on the side, not in the tail light never like 57 especially the dash.
