The Best Espresso Machine In 2022
TIMESTAMPS
00:00 Intro
00:19 Best Overall: Breville BES870XL
01:12 Best for Multi-Sized Servings: Ninja CM401
02:04 Best Stovetop: Bialetti
03:01 Best Compact: Coffee Gator
03:45 Best Commercial: Rancilio Silvia
First of all we have the Breville BES870XL. Breville is a relative newcomer to the world of home coffee appliances, but they've quickly established a reputation over the last decade. Breville's coffee and espresso machines are among the best options for people who want to make great coffee at home quickly and easily. The Barista Express is one of Breville's higher-end models, and it's best suited to serious espresso connoisseurs only, as the price will make less committed customers think twice. The Barista Express is an all-in-one espresso machine that can produce espresso of café quality. It includes an in-built grinder, a digital temperature control system, and a steam wand. It also has several brewing options ranging from automatic to fully manual, giving you the flexibility to grow your skills as you learn the art of espresso. The Barista Express is not the machine for you if you need to churn out large amounts of espresso for entertaining guests. Despite its high price, some features it lacks compared to similarly priced espresso machines.
Up next we have the Ninja CM401. I must admit that I like the look of the Ninja Specialty Coffee Maker. It's nothing like a traditional drip coffee maker, and the designer clearly wanted to convey a sophisticated "coffee bar" vibe. Despite using a lot of plastic, the Ninja's exterior is mostly made of stainless steel. The design revolves around a stylish brew group suspended between a supporting column and the water tank. A fold-away frother whisk for hot or cold milk and hanging storage for the Ninja Smart Scoop is on the left side. The intuitive control panel with the water tank above is on the right side. Although the water reservoir is made of plastic, I like its attractive ribbed design. The Ninja specialty coffee maker allows you to brew in various sizes, including travel mugs, single serve, half carafes, and full carafes. A handy pull-down platform for single-serve coffee brewing is a thoughtful addition. There are four brew styles to choose from, including "Over Ice" and "Specialty Brew."
