I like the Nations League, much better than meaningless friendlies. The excess games come from club football.

Nations League is very very useful..This year quarterfinalswere really exciting. Look at the joy winning team player showed. National Teams miss some games to play before entering EC or WC. It actually emulate WC or EC and Qualifications are not so demanding anymore. It is opportunity to expand roster for trainer.

Uefa complain about Fifa proposing more games yet they themselves have no problem adding more champions & nations league matches and complain to FIFA that their players are too tired & don't have any breaks, go figure.

I think it's a good competition especially since other confederations play their tournaments atleast 2 Times in a span of 4 years, this competition allows the UEFA teams to play a second tournament during those times as well, so think what you think but I likes it

When it was announced, I hated the idea. Now, I like these more than the meaningless windows of friendlies. The only window of friendlies I like now, are the ones just before major tournaments.

As a result of not constantly playing random teams from around the world, think the World Cup was much closer as a competition because other nations from around the world see each other less. So it makes it more exciting

I have said it before i will say it again, you will be better off with a 3 teir world cup rather than this sad excuse for a tournement.

Lightweight

Each one is played a different year with the regional cup filling the final 'year4' slot.

your place in each tournement is determined by your place in each world cup qualifying group, this means players do not need to play any extra games.

Top 1 heavyweight guaranteed spot
Next 2 (including the loser for the heavyweight playoff spot) middlewight
Then there is another playoff spot for the 3rd place teams to detirmine the next place for the middlewight.
And finally a lightweight qualifyer just below that.

The number of games more or less stays the same but because each tournemnt includes and excludes certain teams it gives players a rest and a break rather than constant games all year round. So much talent is breaking simply because there is *never* a break

Now this system helps by rotating players around every year with the exception of the regional cup. It also gives smaller teams a chance to play each other without being bullied by the major european or south american teams.

Everyone wins. People might argue that smaller teams do not have the finances to travel that far, i would argue there is still a lot of revenue to be made that could cover the cost. Especially if the winner of the middleweight and lightweight WC's auto qualify for the next teir up next time.

This is the 1st time I heard people hate the league
