How did you feel when the market dropped?

Started to invest in ETF (VWCE) just over half a year ago and all seemed to go quite well until it dropped last week. I was pretty shocked at first (insert first time-meme) but after I thought about it for a bit I decided to buy more. My average price was pretty high and is now lowered by 2 euro (121 to 119). Still at a significant loss but here to stay and hopefully fully recover from this dip in the end. Thanks for your explanation and insights.

Before the crash, I was worried about how the high returns obtained this year. Now I’m relieved to see that the market is correcting and that the shares are cheaper to buy. Buy and hold always.

Regarding your choice of which sole ETF to keep investing, why did you choose Vanguard FTSE All World Acc. (and now Invesco FTSE all world) if the other Vanguard S&P 500 Acc. has a way lower TER and a better return in %? This S&P 500 would be more advantageous in the long run, right?

I am about to start my FIRE journey and this info could be value in my decision on which ETF to choose considering I also live in Austria. Danke

I'm not changing my investment plan, due to the dip. I also didn't buy extra shares. That said, for me it was the first dip/correction i experienced and it made me see the volatility.. I started investing in VWCE(DCA) and VUSA(lump sum) march this year. The VUSA is still in the green, the VWCE dipped minor in red, about 1%. I try not to worry and i think i will be fine.
