Age of Empires 4 - English Longbow Rush Guide

AOE4 has many awesome civilizations, in this video we look at an English build order that focuses on their unique unit, the Longbowman.

Got my first win with this, thanks :D.

Wrote it quickly in text so ppl can read it whilst in game:

1. put as many vills in Q
2. all 6 vills on starting sheep
3. set town center on gold
- 1st builds goldmine
- 2nd builds house
4. after 2 are on gold, TC back on sheep
5. after 8 food 2 gold, TC to wood
- 1st lumber camp
6. when close to ageup, send 2 vills out already for forward wonder
7. once the 2 vills have gathered 100 gold send them on food
8. set 4 on landmark
9. 7 on food, all the rest on wood
10. scout out opp base
11. get 2nd house
12. once council hall done, set those vills on food
13. dont gather troops, just set mark near enemy base and let them flood
14. ruin their eco, kill villagers or let them idle in TC
15. opp not surrendering? build blacksmith and get siege engineering
- build rams

This rush makes so much sense. I always failed miserably trying to rush in feudal age but it's probably due to putting 3-5 villagers on gold for no reason. When you explained the blacksmith i thought you needed it to get damage/armor upgrades but I didn't think of the siege engineering tech, that actually makes sense cause it's the only way to destroy landmarks reliably in feudal age. Of course in castle and imperial age you got trebs and bombards but I underrated rams.

I don't understand these people. Here, they are complaining it's not like AoE3. On other channels, they complain it's too different from AoE2... and I'm here like "damn, this looks super fun with some elements from CoH2." Are we watching the same videos I don't understand your complaints. This game is GOLD imo!

Thanks I'm new to AOE having a blast just beat the "hardest AI" with this tactic holy moly bow cheese is strong, will be checking more of your guides out thanks! Don't think the AI are designed to deal with this haha probs much harder online.
