So life must have evolved before DNA. It was capable of self-replication and somehow it evolved. But how?

The path was something like simple monomers -> complex monomers -> polymers with little catalytic activity -> low-fidelity polymer replication -> higher replication fidelity for polymers of increasing catalytic activity, plus similar gradualism in membrane development. We have enough plausible mechanisms for each step we're unsure what happened; to some extent, the order is unknown.

Is there any process that can survive mutational melt down in a few generations and evolve fast enough to catch up with the environment?

For many animals you have less than a thousand of them and it is much more likely for a mutation to be a cancer than a useful feature. So how rare should mutations be that don’t kill all the members and how often should it be to make the change needed to catch up with the environment? There is also a great amount of randomness to the algorithm. You can be born with the best mutations in your generation, but be unlucky and cross path a predator the first week.
Also, without any reason, there is death in the natural algorithm. Try writing a computer genetic algorithm with death and see how it doesn’t move a step from where it starts

I think the idea that the origin of life is a randomly generated self replicating molecule is absurd. I watch these videos and think these people live in cloud cuckoo land. I watched the one this stated clearly guy done on RNA hypothesis and thought he should change the name from stated clearly to deliberately deceive

There isn't a way to get from chemicals to life spontaneously - it just won't work. Just take a look at ATP synthase. Try to make this system out of some simpler precursor that doesn't use ATP. And that's one of a huge number of problems that need to be overcome to get a living organism. The more we learn about life, the harder the problem becomes, and it's so hard now that apart from a supernatural molecular engineer who could build the first living systems, there is no other plausible explanation for how it all came together.
