For the weight ratio your gonna need more wing surface and flaps to create more lift that one there might work for a smaller frame person

My question would be why doesn’t he get a small harness from a paraglider and hook himself up and ride the Dunes ?

That’s actually how hang gliding started but it looks like these particular kites which are meant for water are much lighter and very strong at the same time this has got me thinking about trying this out myself
