Personal Health Hygiene and Grooming

My grandmother was just complaining about my body odor and part of what she was complaining about was the diet. She's the one that does the cooking, so, I don't get why complain to me for what she insists on feeding people. She was also going on about cutting hair but couldn't give a response to how it effects hygiene. I spent years with my whole head being shaved but my eyebrows, and being pretty frequent with everything else mentioned in the video, yet still had the same issues with controlling body odor. This shaving argument for good hygiene is trash. Just because you have a beard doesn't mean you have bad hygiene, that's an old offensive stereotype to get people to buy razors and shaving creams. Same to the pushing to buy deodorant and other stuff. And another she was on about is to use antibiotic soaps or whatever. That's a major reason people have issues with body order these days, killing the organisms that prevent that from occuring.

I don't feel comfortable with the part where it says we should shave (both for women and men). I wanted to present this to my students who are adults on the autism spectrum, but I feel like telling someone what to do with their bodily hair is wrong. Bathing is basic hygiene, but shaving is very personal and shouldn't be demanded, strongly suggested or judged. Because of this, I won't pick this video...just a constructive comment. It's unfortunate, because the rest of the video is very interesting and brings up many good points.

hey, dandruff is a medical issue and doesn't reflect "poor hygiene". Its based on genetics and skin conditions, rarely is it a hygiene issue. Please dont let this video shame you into thinking you are unclean. Same with hair on women, you dont have to shave if you dont want to.

Some people don't have a good environment, my friend smells and one of my peers commented on it and here's what he said "Does (My friends name) even know what a shower is?" Or something like that. And it's like wtf.. I've been to her house before and it's not her fault at all. She tries to keep up with her hygiene, I know it because she has an attractive face, and she has a different outfit everyday. But her parents house is what's the problem, it's a complete horder house over there, they've got tons of animals, kids, and people there. And it's a small house, like wtf.. And there was even people vaping there too, her older sister, blew a vape into her face, wtf.. Like dude.. Like I'm just saying you don't know others situations.. So you shouldn't judge someone so quickly.

I feel like I need someone to keep me accountable for keeping a good hygienic appearance, Ik ppl are gonna make fun of me for this and say that "This is such a basic task! Lmao why don't you do it yourself?" But like I've been lazy my whole life and the people around me have been modeling it for me, especially my mother. She encouraged me to not go outside lmao, like why do you not want me to touch grass? 😭 And like she never really had me do any sports or get out of the house and I was a chronically online kid.

Body hair has nothing to do with hygiene we were born with it and also what is the beard has to do with being clean but you also forget to tell people men and women to save their armpits hair because that's dirty and pubic hair you should review the concept of hygiene
