Crime and punishment is Dostoevsky, that should be your next one! The perfect stepping stone, Brothers Karamazov is really huge and made up of all the greatest aspects of his major novels so going to crime and punishment first is a great idea, it’s also my personal favorite of his, it’ll blow your mind.

I loved Greenwood as well. It was such an interesting use of a timeline.

Sea of Tranquility by Emily St.John Mandel has a very similar timeline as Greenwood. I'd recommend it if you liked the format. I've fallen in love with Mandel's writing style overall. Station Eleven is my favorite of hers. Glass Hotel was good too. Quick reads that stay with you a while.

I read The Poisonwood Bible years and years ago and it’s still with me it is so good it’s the kind of book that you don’t want it to end and and when it does you are left wondering why wasn’t there a sequel. Read breakfast at Tiffanys first .I hated In cold Blood. My favourite Stephen King book is Cell, you will love it

If you want more of Donna Tartt’s backstory, I highly recommend the podcast “Once Upon a Time at Bennington College”. She was there at the same time as Bret Easton Ellis and it has interviews with the people that inspired her characters in The Secret History.

I recently bought Nuclear War and I have crippling anxiety!😬 I thought, “Should I really do this?” And the answer was “Yes, yes I should.” Also, Poisonwood Bible is excellent!
