*UPDATE* i misspoke a bit when i talked about powersurging. in the update all old weapons are being removed so the only things u wanna focus on power surging is your armor.

Reforge everything thats on lvl 20 or close to lvl 20-
Craft all Aetherhearts u can-
Use them all up on armors-
Craft all base weapon that u havent already crafted (you want 100 crafted weapon, surged weapons count double)-
Spend all cache coin
Have at least 1 reforge!

Also for the boreal outpost, there is another chest at the end when u run off the cliff to the left

To my knowledge, old weapons will be turned into cosmetics. If so, surging them is probably a waste of resources (unless it gets refunded in some way). Only surge armors.

Most important tip I can give is spend your aetherhearts and sparks on powersurging weapons and craft any you don’t have yet. Every 20 “gameplay” weapons award 100 weapon tokens. Power surged count double to a max of 500 weapon tokens. This is the new currency for unlocking weapons and you can only get so many each season so this will be the largest head start to a timegated/pay to win system you can get

2:00 I'm sorry, where does it say cells are consumable/1 time use? I didn't get that impression at all from any of the posts. The post simply says cells will be "unequipped at launch from your existing weapons and armor."

while you were gone here's what's you missed and this isnt everything... RIP to vet players( and repeaters mains) who grinded out every weapon..

- Exotic Helmets are being removed.
- The Neutral Element is being removed, all Neutral Behemoths are now other elements.
- ALL of your owned weapons will now be turned into transmogs.
- All behemoth weapons are being REMOVED from the game and these new weapons count as separate from the new exotics so you do now own them.
- The new weapon system not only allows us to level/upgrade them to level 60 but now there is ONLY those weapons you saw.
- The majority of lesser behemoths are being removed.
- Lanterns are being removed and are purely cosmetic and can only hold your omnicell.
- Some of the new weapons use old movesets, like the Hunger uses the Old Sword moveset.
- pets are coming .
- There is a set of repeaters only available on the Premium Battle Pass and may come to the regular weapon unlocks in the future. Essentially it's a paid weapon.
_you and now buy rare/unique weapons. Buy the weapons tokens with Platinum then buy the weapons out right ...
- The pack caller skill now summons friendly raptors that assist you in combat. The new repeaters double down on this and let you summon MORE.
- All skills now work like Old MH and require a certain amount of points to activate and all cells are now +1 only.
- Weapon swapping has unique attacks.
- There is also a crown for reforging 1 of each weapon.
- The Slayer's Path is being redone We don't know how much of our progression will carry over.
- The new Legend Variant behemoths are unique PATROLS that act sort of as Rare Species from MH and will be used for later levels of weapon perk crafting.
- all behemoth parts are being used to craft perks on the new weapons.
- Bow not worth mentioning... its been years and they still aint ready
- The Reward Cache is being done away with.
- Individual Trials Leaderboards are being removed so the titles are now a limited commodity.

I've only played like 2 hours of dauntless & it was 3 years ago. Should i wait till the update or will i be okay to start playing tonight? I want to get into it, just not sure how to. Id be grateful for any tips for beginners

Do you know what the cell cores we have now will contain after the update? I have 100s of cell cores i can open in all raritys and a bunch of fountain cores, but wish i knew how the drops are getting changed.

Hi Great video ty, so i have an account where all my weapons where reforged but i reset the account because my friend wanted to replay the game so i reset the account but now i don't have all the weapons Reforged will that mean i will not get the crown?

Shouldnt you save patrol chest keys if youre nowhere near 70 reforges? They have a bounty event so we dont have to worry about tokens. But aethersparks are going to be useless. Do patrol chests still exist after the patch?
