Klara and the Sun [Book Review!]

I recently read the book Klara and the Sun by Kazou Ishiguro and wanted to hop on and share my thoughts! If you have read this or plan to read it, please let me know! If you like stories about artificial intelligence and friendship, this will be right up your alley!

I really enjoyed it, as you'll see in the video. It made my heart ache, so be forewarned!

Mom and I did not love Remains of the I did it via audio and OMG, fell in love with the narrator, Nicolas Guy Smith. I have since listened to two books that I really enjoyed that he did the audio of. I also accidentally started listening to a horror book, that I didn't realize was horror right away. I tried to stick it out because of Nicolas Guy Smith but got too freaked out!!

I thought this was a really good book. I liked how he kept things vague but gave you just enough to be able to piece together a pretty good picture of the world, even if it was just a couple of lines here or an overheard conversation there. I think I could have had a very different reaction if he hadn't nailed the ending, but wow, that was a gut punch. I know I'll be thinking about this one for awhile.
