Also, you surviving the burst the mages/assasins (generally the ones targeting you combined with the initiationtank, sometimes only the assasin) their cooldowns are used and you're able to either push out your damage while healing up slightly. Or heal up from minions or even recall + teleport and continue the fight.
So yes, it certainly is viable.

I know it's an old vid but just a tip I've learned from playing Anhur a lot: don't wast the impale on failed pokes so much, their were a couple times when the knock back from your impale could have pushed the Fen away from your Aphro

I'm not 100% sure but this build zapman uses is because the new 'meta'. The role of the carry before the introduction of the bumba mask was kill right lane tower quick and roam/kill everyone and 'carry' the game. The core build was tabi, exce, dev, db. But now since the new jungle role, the carry role also changed. The role of the carry is now trying to do as much damage you can on the towers, no more roaming and killing people. That why he is now building more atk speed over damage.

I usually play Anhur as a physical caster because he scales pretty well: Pen Boots - Devo - Jotunn's - Titans - Bulwark/ Sov - Situational

Loki doesn't rely much on his auto attacks, more on burst from his abilities, so that attack speed/ stacking arpen is somewhat wasted on him. It's a great item for ranged carries, and I build either it or gloves on almost every single one.

I would recommend also talking about the alternative options. For example, why did I buy Soul Eater instead of buying Devourer Gloves? Qins over Rage? Ninja Tabi over Warrior Tabi? Copying an item build is all well and good, but it helps if you actually understand why you bought those items.

Erm, just a suggestion but maybe you should put the stats up for the items in your video? For newer players this would be hugely helpful. Also a little more structure, other than that good job!

It's a good idea, but i do like something like Soul Eater or Devo Gloves because of the healing it provides, but if you're going full glass-cannon, rage works better.

So yes, Soul Eater and Qin's Blades are definitely situational items for Anhur.
Btw, I never said anything about Warriot Tabi vs Ninja Tabi. Also the "There's a reason why Warrior Tabi, Devourer's Gloves, The Executioner, Deathbringer are the most bought items." Doesn't really say much. Just because some items have been the main picks for a while before doesn't mean they'll continue to be that as the game changes. Heartseeker and Doom Orb used to get picked up every game, the game changed.

For any ranged AD it is important to use, your basic attacks at the beginning of the game. You should not use your 2 to poke the enemy because it is a waste of mana and results in the cooldown of your most efficient damaging ability. For sustain pick up a deaths toll and rank 1 tabi.

i kind of agree, the thought process behind the build is great, but it relies on fash-farming the deathbringer via ganks and jungling, if kills dont happen there is no way you can get the deathbringer in a relatively safe time. So i´d say that it is only viable if you can get two tiers quickly in the same trip to base. If not, just build soul eater first, the attack speed is better than devo because the build focuses on pen and on hit procs.

Qin's Blades together with Soul Eater gives 450 health, you have about 2000 HP if you have Rage and Devourer's Gloves. So you get about 25% extra health wich (if not caught out of position) could mean the difference between surviving a let's say Hun Batz burst and getting away.
So generally you choose between 25% extra HP or a slight damageincrease (about 30 per noncrit attack). Obviously theres higher crit vs higher attackspeed and the qins passive vs tanks but that's way too much to mention.

Loki benefits from short fights. He benefits from compressed burst damage. The faster he can burst someone - the better. The more time he spends in a fight - the weaker he becomes. That means he benefits most from raw physical power and raw penetration like Titan's Bane or Void Blade. Honestly he is one of the most misunderstood gods in terms of itemization. I have a friend who insists on always building him with frostbound hammer and just refuses to listen to any arguments against it.

So not only the itembuilder but the actual stats in-game is incorrect. I'm sure the numbers that are shown on several different locations are wrong and what has been your totally accurate math with majos flaws is correct. I made a brief chek-up on known issues with the in-game builder and only foundproblems with saving your build. I'm sure you can provide with a link to this itembuilder problem.

I build he same exact items on my Fenrir build except maybe switch out soul eat for void blade and I do fantastic. But this Anhur build is awesome as well. He was also the first god I got a penta with :3.
