Poverty, lack of access to digital health, poor engagement with digital health for some communities, and barriers to digital health literacy are some factors that can contribute to poor health outcomes. Along with person-centered care, digital health equity should be integrated into health provider and community health worker training to be advocated at the individual, institutional, and social levels.

As we move forward, SaludConTech & The Latino Coalition Against COVID-19 will continue to share resources, best practices, and related digital health solutions through The Digital Compañero Program and other initiatives. We also will continue to advocate for policies that improve access to broadband internet service and digital health equity for all.
