Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 Speedrun Mode Full Game

I love this game. I'm absolutely blown away by how good of a job Vicarious Visions did on this remake of two of my all time favourite games and in less than a week since release I've spent over 40 hours playing it. I was planning to do a 'remake' of my very old THPS2 speedrun when this game was first announced, but due to the kind of weird way they handle the career mode this time around, I've decided to do my best runs for each goal-oriented stage in the speedrun mode instead. So there's no cash icons, no competition stages and I have full stats, but it was still very fun planning routes through each stage to get the 10 goals.

I'm still amazed by how many people have watched my VERY old speedrun of THPS2 over the many years and this time I left the soundtrack going! Believe it or not, you do eventually get sick of the soundtrack no matter how good it is, but having way more songs this time around does help. Also, I'm a lot older now and while I'm still able to play the game almost as well as I did in my late teens/early 20s, my hands hurt way more!

The most amazing part of this is that it took me 20 years and this video to realize you can use the planter to get up to the secret tape area in school II. Wall ride gang for life

crazy how he can get the sick score whilst completing every other task but it takes me the whole 2 minutes just to even get the pro score.

The cool thing about the modern age and arcade games is that if the soundtrack becomes dull, you can fire up some other music in the background either on your PC or with Spotify on your PS4. Podcast and playlist were a godsend when I was doing playthroughs of this and Dead Rising.

I notice you never did the quick turnaround, unless I missed it.
Not sure if that was intentional or not or if it saves time not doing it vs doing it, but pressing down, down, R1 does a quick turnaround animation.

Nice runs! You could shave off a few seconds off your time by using down+down+R1 to change directions. I see you often slowing down to turning around.
