How To Film a Video Portrait | Avoid These MISTAKES

This breakdown should hopefully give you some insight on how I created my recent cinematic video portrait and how you can create one yourself. I'll be going over what lenses and accessories I used for this video portrait shoot, my camera settings, cinematography techniques, how I reached out to the model, issues with my gear, etc. Because the video started to get a little long, I split up the editing aspect of the video in 'Part 2' below. Thank you so much for watching!

Great video!!! When you are using manual focus lenses you have to adjust the focal length of your lens in the camera, so the in body stabilization will work fine without "wobbles"!!!

This is so great, thanks for showing BTS, I'm trying to learn how to make a good model video profile using my Canon RP and sometime with vintage lenses. Because I don't have s-log I'm using in camera picture profile settings from ProLost Flat hoping that helps my dynamic range. New subscriber, look forward to exploring your channel.
