Learn DevOps Security | Continuous Compliance Tutorial | Securing CI/CD Pipelines and Infrastructure

This video will focus on learning security for DevOps and how security has shift left. It will help you understand how to secure CI/CD pipelines as well as the infrastructure of the environments. Securing is very important if we want to go fast as we must not compromise the application because we chose to move fast. This is why security in DevOps is essential and without real consideration for DevSecOps or DevOps security practices, we can’t implement DevOps as it will compromise our application and organization.

Also, from another hand, moving fast can help for security because we don’t leave ourselves in a vulnerable position as we always change where we are. Also, as we are fast, our response for any compromise can be supper fast.

DevOps security means instead of certifying the release, we certify the CI/CD pipelines. Once we trust the pipelines, we can trust the release. This is why the pipelines should support full auditing and monitoring at any point in time.

So, securing DevOps means securing the third party libraries, securing the source code, performing penetration test passive and active and many other practices.
