the name is MACEDONIA. north was forcibly added and unconstitutional name attached against the will of the Macedonians. therefore saying north is offensive to the Macedonians.

if the government keeps its promise to boost the agricultural sector in Macedonia, within a year the groceries price could go down 30% or more

Hey Dan and qiang, I am one of the ones that suggested you check out ohrid on your Tirana report... Like you I don't think I would live there all year (although as a Canadian I likely don't mind the cool as much as you both lol). To me what I loved about ohrid was the ability to escape the July/August heat of the southern Europe (it was so hot when I was in Tirana in early August).

Good report like always... Did you wander the neat path along old town and the shore to the church around the lake? Tons of quiet places to relax and take in the beauty of the lake.

I am from Ohrid but living in Prague, your prices are approximately correct, Ohrid have best weather in the world! The lake is cooling the air and it is so nice to bread there ! I miss my home :(, Next time when you go, go visit St Naum its 30km from Ohrid on the same lake , that is place worth making video for it is amazing nature! We Macedonian have a saying if you have not seen St Naum its same like you have not visited my Country!

We would have liked to have seen the whole apartment. The information for eating out - it would be better to give a few guidelines for each dish - the total doesn't mean much. Nobody knows whether you ate out once or three times.

I have heard the us is building new military bases in Philippines can you talk about that? I'm a retired military member looking to retire in the Philippines and think it would be a huge benefit to retire in the same area as one of the new bases if that is really happening

Unless things have changed it's difficult to move to North Macedonia. Requires a local sponsor for one. Don't believe they have a retirement visa. There's a lot to like about the country but tough to move to.
