Awesome reels! I have two Ceymar reels.. pretty smooth and has a good drag! Definitely good value for money.

I have to say after using this extensively this season. A fantastic reel and work horse for the money . I use it on a 7 ft 2 tip medium / medium light rod . I done everything from ned rig to senkos to flukes etc. great drag and smooth reel .

I recently bought the Ceymar 2500HD. Excellent reel. Firm, smooth, very ergonomic and great for casting. I have a Sienna and a Nasci and I can say that they are of the same level. Another reel I recently purchased was the Ryobi Anesta 3000. Extremely smooth and prepared for saltwater, great drag.

i have this reel and it's beautiful. nice shinny black finish, excellent drag and nice working bail. handle feels great and the price point is spot on. i also own a diawa revros the same size and same price . the revros is just a smoother operating reel and feels like it's worth three times it's 50 bucks. the ceymar feels like it's worth the 50 bucks you paid for it once it's under load

My personal spin rods all have the ceymar c-40 on them. I use them in fresh water, brackish, and saltwater. I have 4 of them. On various rods that I use for various things. I love these reels. I have never had to max out the drag either. I totally agree. Very good reel and a fantastic price for what you get. Thanks for the video.

I own 4 ceymar's (10, 25, 30 and 40) and they never fails. The 40 is the oldest and I use it for pike so pretty heavy lures.

Okuma is the BEST under rated reels going. My gf had a ceymar for 2 yrs and dunked the hell out of it in salt water. Lasted 1.5 yrs before I replaced the clutch pack. I had another for 3+ yrs (Avenger) I used in salt water but I rinsed mine unlike my girl.

Before Ceymar, Okuma had the Trio series. That's my favorite reel.

Awesome review! Looking to match a reel to an Okuma GSP UL Trout rod and was thinking a small Ceymar. What is the difference between the Okuma Ceymar and the Ceymar ODT reel?
