I personally feel uncomfortable if I cannot look straight at my door. It being hidden behind a wall would freak me out 😭

Wouldn’t the bed fit in the smaller divided room with the same orientation? The small wall would already be there and you wouldn’t have to build a totally new one

exactly what i needed! had to move my bed to the door wall because i work nights and its the darkest part of the room and ive been trying to figure out how to make it more secure and cozy, i put my dresser between my bed and door so its good to know im already on the right path!

I once had to put the bed by the door like that bc the wall in the command position had an outdoor stairwell behind it. I hung a curtain from the ceiling to redirect the energy from the door - it actually works pretty well!

YES. This. This is the one I've been waiting for. I have a little nook in my room, shallower than hers, but it seemed like the perfect place to tuck my bed into. But I woke up so often in a panic, that "sliced in half" feeling was so strong. Even though my bed is against two windows now, I feel much more peaceful. Thank you for the validation
