This is truly not just a song, it's a revelation of what worship means. Abraham while going to kill his son as a sacrifice as instructed by God in Genesis 22:5, called that act a worship. He told his servants, wait here while I and the lad will go and worship and then return to you. Killing his son in obedience to God means worship to Abraham, it never occurred to him as a lost but a worship. Wow!
And again, in the voice of the singer " leave at alter with my father" I could see Abraham telling his servants that in this kind of worship, leave me alone with my father, you don't need to be with me as I go to worship, we may have been worshipping together at home, but this worship is a special one, I need to be alone with my father, so you wait here.
Most times, for you to have an effective worship, some people in your life need to be left behind. Not just physically leaving you, you have to get some people or things off your mind also.
I'm blessed. I really commend the back up singers and the instrumentalist also. More anointing.
