its neat how the deep dark is all about sound, and the pale garden is all about sight

Before this snapshot I was of the opinion that this drop felt a bit lackluster, but the resin gives a real incentive to silk touch and take home the creaking heart in single player, and I'm very happy with the amount of content now

6:22 There actually is a way on Bedrock to automatically attack creakings using a trident killer (basically on Bedrock a thrown trident can damage multiple entities if you keep pushing it around) to constantly damage a creaking. There might be some difficulty getting on inside but this might help with automating this farm but only on Bedrock

"There is no right or wrong way to build a farm. " YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT I'M CAPABLE OF, XISUMA!

I like how you actually have to go the pale gardens at night to even obtain a good amount of resin. I was thinking they’d make the creaking drop something but this is way better!

The semi transparent facade like this and lichen ect. are awesome because they don’t just add one new texture but they kind of add a new texture for every block that already exists because the final texture is a sum of the two so I’m glad they are adding more and more.

Didn't realize Sweeping Edge isn't in Bedrock and I was questioning why you didn't just use it right away

Love the "simple" and elegant design of the farm. It's very nicely in there with a farm that doesn't have a huge amount of redstone but enough redstone to still make it interesting to experiment with.

2:50 on Bedrock edition, redstone dust will connect directly to pistons. The target blocks aren't needed. Although I understand you probably used them to make it easier for both java and Bedrock players to understand

nice to see that the creaking is still moving as goofy as ever

I see so many comments about the Trident Killer on bedrock and yes they are amazing and everyone is entitled to their opinions but, Xisuma mainly plays the Java version of the game and would need to design the farm that would work best for his needs.

Im sure when the snapshot releases for Java he will make a more efficient farm.

This is the closest thing to getting a bean farm in minecraft.

both xisuma and the resin is popping off

One option to explore for damageing the creaking is snow golems, however it may not work as they might not target them and the damage isnt from the player, similarly to the tnt example. Potions i think are the easiest thus far as its not that dificult to set up a couple of auto brewers for a rolling suply of instant damage splash potions.

I love how they just released this item and folks are already making farms for resin. This community is awesome, and thank you Xisuma for helping others prepare for the update and how to farm the new item.

That was an awesome tutorial. You successfully taught the knowledge you were trying to, while leaving room for curiosity and excitement in the players own building and design process

. You can use the resin to have orange armor trims. Which is awesome, copper is more dull orange in my opinion and I'm glad that we have an actual orange typel so we got red from Redstone, orange from resin, yellow from gold, green from emeralds, blue from lapis lazuli, light blue from diamonds, purple from amethyst, black from netherite, a brownish orange from copper, and white from iron, we literally have all the colors except for maybe a few more but I mean we got a lot more now. And those bricks are pretty cool you can make a lava fortress in another. Man those things should have been used in the nether or something to update the fortresses even with netherwart

Hey @xisumavoid you might want to look into a trident killer functionality in bedrock edition. This is a good way to compensate for the fact that there is no sweeping edge enchantment on Bedrock edition.

Interesting video! I made one of my own yesterday. I used pistons above the front faces of the upper log above the hearts, and hooked them to an Etho hopper clock firing about once every 2 seconds. The spawn platform was also the kill chamber: a piston/observer/trident whirligig. The rest of the farm I either built out of leaves or covered with leaves for spawnproofing. Because I used a trident killer I could AFK all right and come back to a chest full of resin. After that I hooked the output up to an autocrafter.

Have you noticed that these resin blocks look a lot like the taterstone and gravitater blocks in the potato April Fool's update?
