Even now, Aveline is still a mother to them all 😂😂 I can just imagine her like
“No friend of mine will be taken by the calling! You’re coming with me Carver!”

I love how, Aveline learns Carver's, and the other Warden's, calling is going fucking hog wild, and she's just like "Hell to the no, to the Nono no! Hell no no, to the no no!"

Where's my epic side-story with Fenris, Carver, Hawke, and Varric all reuniting and adventuring together? I'd play the hell out of that!

I wonder sometimes....in DA2 Flemeth tells Hawke that there will come a moment when he/she will come to a precipice of change and that he/she should not be afraid to leap when it arrives. That moment never really came in DA2. I wonder if the moment she was referring to---was in the Fade when you can choose to leave Hawke there or someone else. Because Hawke IS the one who initially volunteers.

Because its never actually confirmed that Hawke or whoever is left there....dies. We don't know what happened to them. And anyone being physically in the Fade is such a rarity that....if a living person dies in the Fade....what happens then?

I kind of wonder if it won't be something significant in DA4.

I love the little Easter eggs you can get if you used the keep. (not using the keep makes everything bland, I was using default for the longest time until I figured out how to use the keep)

We so need a Dragon Age trilogy remaster now.

Personally I would very much like to see a return of Grey Warden Carver. In the dlc "Mark of the Assassin". Fenris refers to Grey Warden carver as now being "dangerous" in his eyes. I would love to see how dangerous a more mature grey warden carver looks like.

Off-topic, but that party setup is what I'm using for my Hell run (Nightmare, all Trials, no crafting).

Vivienne is just the absolute best on AI (and I switch to her when I die) and provides a ton of protection with the Enhanced Ring of Barrier and her passives that boost Barrier power.

Cassandra is the best buffbot in the game, with Blessed Blades and her passive buffs vs demons and elemental resistances. In addition, she tanks really well with the heal upgrade on Wrath of Heaven and a heal-on-hit weapon like Soulkisser, but if an enemy manages to break through her, she gives a huge boost to everyone else who's alive (damage, heal, etc.).

Varric is just the best option for ranged Rogue (assuming you're not it), and his ability to spam skills with basically no cooldown even works on runs where you can't craft for optimal stats. If I'm in a pinch, I know I can switch to Varric and pour damage into the one enemy that's giving me trouble until it's down. He's just that reliable, and the Bianca upgrades boost him so much.

My Inquisitor is a DW Tempest, and this run is my first time ever playing that specialisation (hooray!). I find that I didn't use Flask of Fire as much as the other two, so I dropped it (and Stealth) for other damaging abilities like Throwing Blades and Spinning Blades. It's just more fun to play when you've got more skills, and it sucks that Tempest kind of oppresses that playstyle by hoarding your limited ability slots with Flasks. Poisoned Weapons is a given, considering that without the heal (from the upgrade), I die stupidly quick, so that's half my skill slots taken already. I can't live without Evade, so that's five, which leaves me with three damage abilities (I chose Flank Attack, Deathblow, and Throwing Blades). After dropping Flask of Fire, I got Spinning Blades for a bit more DPS, and I've never looked back.

This character looks so much like the mage inquisitor I'm playing right now!

I have a deep, deep fondness for the fanon scene of Fenris finding Hawke after these events. "Stop. Leaving. Me. Behind. And. Risking. Your. Life." Guard dog Fenris on duty!

We need a dlc of us playing hawke once again and infiltrating weisshupt.

Does this differ much under the following conditions?
1) Hawke romanced one of the other romance characters (ie: Merrill, Isabella, Anders or Sebastian).
2) Carver joined the Templars instead.
3) Bethany lived instead and either joined the Circle or the Grey Wardens?
