How to Remove Ads from Roku Home Screen & Screensaver

This hack shows you how to access Roku's secret screen to disable ads. To access the secret screen, press the Home button five times then the up arrow, right arrow, down arrow, left arrow, and up arrow once more on the directional pad.

Once you are on the Secret Scree, go under the “Cycle scrollable ads” option and hit Ok to cycle through the options and select “Always Disabled.” Then you’ll want to go to the “Cycle home screen ad banner server” option and set it to “Demo 3.” Restart your search Roku device or TV.

Still works, turning the tv on and off before trying to open the secret screen helped me access it

I can confirm that this does work, and if you follow this correctly, you will be ad free. It does leave a blank box in this spot that the ad used to be, but if you don’t mind that, this hack is for you

Roku update disabled the ability to block ads

Roku removed it this with an update so it no longer works . I recommend everyone to go leave a negative review on their roku devices to complain about forced adds on roku devices
