I have a 2012 Nissan Sentra S with over 201, 000 miles on it. Never had an issue with the original CVT. I changed the fluid every 60, 000 miles as required in the owner’s manual. Nissan is capable to be reliable as Toyota and Honda. You haters should learn how to read a manual and drive a car properly and you won’t have any problems long term.

Never thought i would say this about a nissan, but that's actually pretty nice. If nothing else it brings more competition in this exploding crossover ev market ahead. Thought my next car was going to be a Enyaq or model y, but seems i have to consider more options.

Don’t forget people, talking about range, it will have unlimited range because it will be charging at all times at night. Unless you want to go on a road trip or forget to charge at night.

Prefer the look of the interior of this compared to the ID 3&4

This SUV actually has an interior that I bet is nicely put together. I always praised Tesla’s drive train and tech but that alone won’t cut it anymore. So happy to see truly viable alternatives (range, power) that are also beautifully designed and built 👍🏻

having seen it in the flesh, I really liked what I saw

The Ariya styling looks great from the outside, sleek lines and simplistic design inside. A real EV with power and size from Nissan. Good job Nissan !

But it is 24% off the efficiency of the tesla 3 (large battery + less range) and 8% off the efficiency of a Polestar 2. Just imagine bringing out a ICE car that does 38mpg and your competitor does 50mpg. When will manufactures understand that early adopters of EV's are people that consider efficiency important and probably think SUV's are a FSI given inside space, efficiency, roll over probability. This is behind the curve before it is out the door. I think the Polestar 2 is a great car and I own a T3 LR.
If you complain about my comment - then become an early-adopter of a full EV, and buy one !

a natural electrical phenomenon

Please Nissan give us the option of another interior colour option other than black especially at this price point

What is wrong with buttons? Touch controls panels cost less to manufacture than buttons.

The pricing you talk about is speculative and I wander how competitive will it be if it starts at 40k
How much will four wheel drive with performance and larger battery
Perhaps 55k which even though cheaper than Audi, Jaguar and Mercedes is not that much cheaper if one takes into account market position, maybe 10/15k which over 5 years ownership is no longer a bid deal and I know what I would prefer sitting on the drive

Damn, that actually looks amazing. Great job Nissan.

Ooh! I like. Cheaper and looks more like an EV than many of its competitors. My preferred brand is taking so long coming out with a “proper” EV, might be time to swap. Nissan reliability record will no doubt help sales.

Depending on final price but i could see myself driving that...👍

What's the range of the 4wheel drive with the 87 battery not the high proformance

Having looked at electric vehicle pricing I can't see how a transition to electric by 2030 will be possible without huge government incentives. They are just too pricey.

Honestly, I was a bit disappointed with model Y to see its toyish interior.
Yet, great surprise to see Ariya has much more stylish exterior and sophisticated interior with really respectable specs.
