Lake Elsinore's Walker Canyon closed amid poppy bloom

Lake Elsinore officials are worried that the beautiful poppies will bring throngs of people. They are telling visitors that its ok to look but don't stop. Rina Nakano reports.

I guess the small businesses in Lake Elsinore don’t need the extra income. A lot of flower visitors get hungry, need gas, or just want to shop. Authoritarians in Lake Elsinore say just move along, go spend money in Corona or Temecula.

Hypocrites. On the one hand they'll cry about what they perceive as their rights being violated (say by Democrats), and on the other hand they'll restrict access, even by threat of violence, to nature and hiking trails. It's ridiculous.
