Looking forward to your Knorr video! My kiddo loves all the Knorr's ;) We use the Marinara with pork breakfast sausage like a VERY easy spaghetti dinner. The creamy chicken flavor with canned chicken is also a VERY easy meal!

Great haul Jaime!😍
You certainly had a lot of activities this past week!😘
Your baby girl is growing so fast! I think she was 6 when I started watching your videos!🤗
I saw a couple of things in your haul that you could have saved money on at Dollar Tree! They usually have a couple of different flavors of the Knorr packets. Another really big savings is on the apple pie filling. $1.25 vs $2.78 is more than a 50% savings!😚
There was a time when you made a lot of meals with items from DT. Sure the price went up to $1.25 but there are still a lot of savings from shopping there.
There are a lot of food items I still buy at DT since their prices only increased by 25¢ and regular grocery stores practically doubled.
My dad used to be the chili maker in our house! He also had a garden where he grew a lot of peppers.🌶️
I remember once when he made a big pot of chili, he added several peppers from his garden.
The chili was so hot that no one could eat it!🔥 He ended up adding another 5 lbs of ground meat to the chili so we could eat it!😅
Of course you have to use the chili in different ways when you have that much chill.
We made lots of beef enchiladas and we often got fresh homemade tamales and we put chili on them.
Chili Mac was another thing we enjoyed as well as Frito pie! Of course all these things had plenty of cheese too!
Mexican food is something we eat a lot down here and this is where Tex-Mex actually originated.
But with such big batches of chili, we often put several containers in the freezer. Nobody makes a small batch of chili and it's nice to have some already made in the freezer!
Something else we do with chili is add it to scrambled eggs or on top of an omelette with cheese and avocado!🥑
Have you ever heard of a Mexican lasagna? That's a good way to use that big pot of chili!😋 Almost any Italian dish can be made into a Mexican dish by using chili. And as much as I love pasta, the possibilities are endless! You could even get some cheese tortellini and cook it to go with the chili!
My sister just made chili and put 5 containers in the freezer. She kept 2 containers out and gave one to me. I've been eating it and have a helping left so I'll probably cook some pasta and add some cheese to make one more meal.
There's a dish I started making many years ago. The original recipe was for Spanish rice. The recipe was on the package of rice. I just kept adding things to it until it became a full meal.
I added chili to the rice and the seasonings then I added pinto beans (canned works just fine and whatever kind of beans you prefer), then I added some corn (frozen or canned) and cheese of course and before you know it, you have a full meal from this Spanish rice recipe.
This was a hardy dish and you can add whatever you want to the dish. The Spanish rice recipe had ground meat in it so using chili is perfect for it.
We eat a lot of pinto beans down here but if you use black beans or kidney beans, they would work too.
I started by cooking the rice on the stove. Then I added the chili and I often used frozen corn so it would cook in the pot with the other ingredients. Or you can use canned corn. For convenience I used canned beans. You can leave it cooking in the pot on the stove and top with cheese and cover with the lid.
When I first started making this, I would transfer everything to a baking dish and top with cheese and put it in the oven to heat through.
Hope this gives you some ideas for all the chili! There are so many ways to use it!☺️
Don't forget to make a trip to DT! You'll be surprised at what you can find there that's so much cheaper than the grocery stores! I often buy canned fruit there since you don't see any at the grocery store that are only $1.25. A can of peaches can run $1.60 or more at the grocery store.
But it doesn't hurt to check out what DT has. I just picked up a box of name brand pancake mix.🥞 And the best peanut butter cups are at DT!
Thanks for sharing another great video!🥰

I'm from Wisconsin and we make a Barry Weiss beer chili that's really good, I love white chicken chili personally. I'm not a fan of ground meat, so chili is not my thing all the time, but my mom also makes a really good cowboy chili that has a ton of delicious things in it. But the Barry Weiss beer chili is always a hit! One thing I heard of from my Ohio friends is cinnamon rolls and chili and I just can't fathom that as a combo😂❤

I like my own recipe don't have a cow not beef crumbles by Wegmans. (they are vegan), home grown sweet peppers, one hot pepper, northern beans and a can of chili beans, diced tomatos. I add chili powder, redmonds taco seasoning, garlic powder. Yum.. I just made this last week. Delicious.
