South Africa Vlog | Safari, mountain hikes, travel sketchbook

Last October we went to South Africa for 2 weeks. We travelled to Durban to hang out with family, went on a little safari to the bush for a few days, a hippo cruise, whale watching and then a trip to the Drakensburg to spend a few days hiking in the mountains.

It was such a lovely trip and I even managed to do some art! I hope you enjoy seeing what we got up to :)

I love the bowls I would buy too many too. The cathedral peak area reminds me of the area of Wyoming that we are moving to. So you will definitely like it when you come over for a visit.

Wonderful vlog, April. Mont marte is the Australian bargain brand. If you brave another long haul flight and come to Sydney in Oct/Nov, there are beautiful Jacaranda cruises on the harbour, but you would need to bring purple pencils! Thanks for sharing.

I get you with the lack of "Art SUpplies" 🥲We really fall short in that department unfortunately! Honestly sometimes depressing when I watch all these artists online and their art hauls 😂We need more of these stores in SA....
