Level Reduction: Each split’s Battle Pass will feature 60 levels instead of the traditional 110, focusing on providing higher value items by eliminating less popular rewards like weapon charms and kill quips.
Pricing and Purchase Method:
Direct Purchase with Real Money: In a significant shift, players will no longer use Apex Coins to buy Battle Passes. Instead, purchases must be made with actual currency.
Cost: The new Premium Plus Battle Pass will be priced at $19.99 USD for both splits, or players can choose to buy a single split’s Battle Pass for $9.99.
Free Battle Pass Option: Respawn will offer the first Premium Battle Pass for free next season as part of a promotional move, available to players who complete certain challenges.

They DEFINITELY are not doing this to cut out items people dont like. They are only doing this to remove the "pay one battlepass to unlock them all" mechanic. That was literally the only thing keeping old players in the game

Charge More, take things away, have to pay with money not coins, two battle passes (why?..more money), now you can use universal tracker (aka we are so lazy to make new ones just put the old ones into other legends) …come on ea. The original devs are probably not surprised at his is the state of the game.

Mam if they don't change their minds I'll just stop spending irl money because I prefer to save my coins from a season to then spend, and by the next seasons battle pass
My reasoning for this because it means that hey I spent entire season completing my battle pass and holding myself from spending on the shop to then spend on next battle pass

TBH what they could have done is keep the regular battle pass and make the battle pass lv60 max and it can be purchase with AC or money. ATOP of that they can add a premium battle pass that can ONLY be bought with money lv70 max. You can either have 2 battle pass in one season or have just one battle pass in one season.
One can be purchase by casual apex player and the other can be purchase by hard core apex player.

I've been playing this game since day one and I've played every season. I hated the last season because they didn't focus on the game's problems and instead sold us more and more cosmetics and other crap. They're killing the game and if the premium season pass has to be bought on the store, I'll have to say goodbye for good.... 🖐️🙄
