The 'telling the truth' themes usually happen when Phoenix is telling the court what actually happened. A great twist to this theme happens in the fifth case: it plays when Dahlia floats the idea that Maya committed suicide. That kind of subconsciously gives new players the impression that might have actually happened, giving them the same sense of despair Phoenix gets in that scene.
