Mass Effect 3 Control Ending (Extended Cut)
Additional scenes are added at the end to provide more elaboration on the Control choice. Voiceover by Shepard. IMO I'm glad they added the extra scenes, as it wraps things up much better than the original. It's not my preferred ending, though.

Just the way Shepard speaks & what he says makes me fearful that he might one day lose sight of the human he once was & become a danger to everyone instead of protect them, which I guess is fine for a renegade Shepard. I prefer synthesis.

I don't know if you guys noticed but Control Shepard sounds a lot like a new Catalyst and Harbinger combined

I might have chose this ending if it didn't go against everything shepard stands for. enslaving a race, listening to the illusive man, using reaper technology after in me 2 (if you destroy the collector base) he basically said it's not worth using reaper technology after everything they've done. Also there is no way in hell shepard or any one is certain that the reapers won't attack again, it might have been shepards voice but but it's not shepard, not really with the way he was speaking. He's now an advanced ai and thinks like an ai which makes him extremely dangerous and unpredictable. that's why I chose destroy, a lot more safer and your certain that the reaper threat is over and won't come back in a different form.

in my playthrough this ending would suck, all i did was to bitch against illusive mans ideas of control :D i chose destroy, but i am really sad it killed EDI :/

Destroy is the best ending, but it's hard to see at first glance. Indoctrination theory makes it clear why, but even if you don't believe it... 1) Saren wanted synthesis 2) TIM always wanted control (you see him choosing it after the child suggests it 3) Anderson always wanted destroy (you see him choosing it after the child suggests it) 4) If you maxed your army, Shepard survives, proving that the reaper kid was lying when he said it would kill him. 5) When he survives, he is sourounded by London concrete with a flipped Mako hard to see in the background, proving it was a dream. There is WAY more evidence but this is the tip of the iceberg.

i think this is the best ending u can't beat the reapers period if u choose destruction u lose life in synthesis u basically force change on  a genetic level and not to mention your not really giving anyone a choice in the matter i sure as hell wouldn't go for it with control depending on your choices you've made u become the reapers everything u were in the game they will become
